DC Motor Control
This is not a golf cart question but the motor control is similar. I have a Cushman Titan cart, 48volt that was running fine. I decided to restore (a lot of rust) it and when I was reinstalling the batteries I put one bank of batteries in backwards reversing the polarity from the other bank. Of course is would not run and it took me a few weeks to figure it out. I have corrected that problem and now I can hear the solenoid click (on occasion) but the motor will not start. The SepEx DC Motor Control and the status light blinks 4 times, short pause and 1 more blink. I can't find out what that codes means. Any help will be appreciated.

Ouch!
The 4-1 error is a "Current Sense Fault" and the suggested corrective action in the service manual is replace controller. Attached are a service manual and a parts manual that cover a Titan 48V. ------------------ If the Curtis 1264 controller is bad, replace it with an Alltrax XCT. |

Try FSIP, they are the only controller rebuilders I'd trust at all.
