My cart is rough as a log wagon! Ezgo txt - 6” lift - leaf springs

I wouldn’t mind dropping the lift to a 3” or enough for 20” turf tires. Just didn’t know if there was an easy alteration to this rough ride. Rear seems to be the worst. Any suggestions welcomed. Trading carts maybe easiest option.

The lift in the rear is just a lift block, so it shouldn't affect ride cushioning at all.

There are different kinds of springs. HD springs handle rear passengers well, but make the cart ride rough. Standard springs are not recommended for rear seats as it'll cause the back end to sag when you get a person or two on there. But the ride is smoother.

Now they also make hybrid springs that feel supple like a standard duty spring but are capable of handling rear passengers too. I bought a set for my TXT but am waiting for the weather to cool a bit before installing.

talk to me about the hybrid springs, I have a back seat but people seldom ride on it and the ride is rough with the hd springs

I think they are listed as dual action springs. The heavier you load them the more support they provide. You can find them available from several of the site sponsors.

Me too. I may have to suck it up and get some to keep my kidneys from being totally rearranged.

Thanks Reddawg, yes, I meant Dual Action. I was having a senior moment.

When I switched to lithium the cart lost so much weight that the ride became harsh. So I bought the Dual Action springs since I have a back seat, I pull a trailer, etc. So I wanted to maintain that capability. But I've yet to actually install them... It's on my list! :)
