Default PDS Rear Spring Problems

Got a call from a neighbor yesterday that he had backed his PDS into a tree. Evidently he hit it hard enough for the foot platform on the rear seat to be touching his back tire on the passenger side. While I couldn't see anything bent on the rear seat kit, I do see that the shackle on the rear spring on that side is at a very different angle than the other. So i am guessing he broke one of the spring leafs on the passenger side. Is there anything else that would cause the shackles to be different from one side to the other?

Bent frame would definitely do that.

Measure from front bolt hole of leaf spring to upper hole of rear mounting point of shackles. Measure both sides for comparison.
