So on step 2 of the diagram you posted, I had 14.4 volts. I went inside, came back out and now it only reads 1.2 volts. I cannot get it to read more. What would this mean?

I pulled the cable off and put it back on and it read 14.2 then went back to 0.70.

Okay, I have found out more. If I put it in tow mode for a few minutes and then go to run, then read the wire its 14.28volts. After 2 minutes it goes to 1volt.

Should the voltage be steady on step 2 or is this normal?

The voltage should be steady.

Try measuring the voltages at the ITS sensor.

Step 2 gave me 14.2v. Removing the 6 pin connector on step 3 and testing gave me 14.7v.

It did go up. Based on this do you think the ITS is shot? I was unable to lift the cart and do the final test. The ITS seems to be a cheap part compared to the controller. So far the controller seems to have passed.

I replaced the its as it was damaged and cracked once I opened the cover. My cart still won't move. Do I replace the controller now?

Sounds like a good idea.

Get an Alltrax XCT48x00-DCS. (X is for 3, 4 or 5 - meaning 300A, 400A or 500A version of the XCT controller.)
