Default 2004 MPT 1000 throttle issue/ 2,1 fault code

Curtis 1264-5407 controller.

I cleaned the throttle connector with contact cleaner as well as the large moles connector that goes to the controller.

I opened the throttle inductor/connector compartment under the floor mat and it is very clean in there.

What else can I test?

The cart has some variance in speed but doesn’t go very fast and will randomly start to go real slow/crawl to a stop and or jump like the breaks are being pushed - will kind of stop and start.

Batteries are all new Trojan T-105s

2,1 code is low battery voltage for that controller.. Have you checked the voltage on the pack when the pedal is pushed?

Do you mean testing the voltage of the 48v system when the pedal is being pushed/the cart is driven?

Since the batteries are new. What else can I check/test?

Yes. Might be a bad cable

Would this be measured at the controller or the +/- leads on the batteries themselves?

Bumping this. Issue went away and now cart doesn’t power on or drive - battery indicator doesn’t show any power.

I tested the batteries and I’m getting 45V DC. 45 to the solenoid but when the the B+ leaves the solenoid and goes to the controller, the B+ at the controller is 3v DV.

Solenoid bad?

Solenoid or cable between solenoid and controller

Replaced the solenoid. Cart now runs and battery meter works but still getting the 2,1 code.

Any other suggestions? Cart seems sluggish. Batteries are charged.

What should be the voltage going from the solenoid the to the controller? I’m getting 10v
