Rocking could also be a brake hub out of round making it pulse..

My brakes will pulse if I set the parking brake really hard after I've been using the brakes hard and got the drums hot.

Fortunately, it fades away after a few moderate to heavy stops.

I guess it'll be alright to turn this into a project thread. So, the modifications will begin this weekend. New leaf springs & all bushings will be here tomorrow. I also got a good deal on a grab bar for the rear seat and a roof rack. I'll do some updated pics as it's been a while since I have posted any.

As for the electrical upgrades, I'll be making some decisions on that shortly. i need to have another discussion with ScottyB about a couple of details. Stay tuned there.

Let me stress how much I really appreciate everyone's contributions to my multitude of threads asking question upon question to understand. This really is a great group, so here's a virtual toast!

Sumter. I was in Aiken a couple of weeks or so ago for my daughter to shoot at the new DNR NWTF facility.

It is very cool. I believe it opens to the public in September sometime. As far as clays go, lots of elevation change and some pretty challenging targets. I was pretty happy with my daughter shooting a 77 for her first round there.

The facility overall all is just really impressive. Well worth the ride over there. I'm hoping to get my cart upgraded before we go back as the drive to the range from the trailer parking is about almost a mile and it's probably more than a 7% grade down/up gravel roads.

Alright all, back at it again. So, I replaced the leaf springs and put the roof rack on. Shortly after my back finally gave out and I had to have a 4 disc lumbar decompression in my lower back in August. I seem to be on the mend so it's time to get rolling again. I still need to do the grab bar on the back (still in bubblewrap from May) and then the electrical work will begin. I'll post some updated pics if it ever stops raining. GOD it's good to be able to function again.
