Re: Club Car DS Charging Issues
I tried to get different angles of the pack as a whole. I bought the cart 2 months ago and it was running fine somehow with the neg-neg connection on the middle (3 & 4)batteries. Battery 3 is the one that melted. I've changed the connection and all are pos-neg. The cart is still sluggish and since fixing the pos-neg connection...the charger won't click on.

Re: Club Car DS Charging Issues
Now take the main negative cable off for about 10 minutes. That should reset the OBC I'm sure it is confused at the very least. Then try the charger again.

I see you have a multi-meter. Take a voltage reading in the charge receptacle so we can know what the charger sees (voltage-wise) when you plug it in. There are 3 pins in the receptacle... just read every combo of 2 from the 3 and tell us the highest reading you get. |

Re: Club Car DS Charging Issues
If # 3 was indeed hooked up backwards for any length of time you KILT it... It has suffered more harm than it can recover from... REPLACE it...

Re: Club Car DS Charging Issues
OK. Will do. Thanks scottyb, teecro, mygolf, and the rest. I really appreciate your guidance. I'll replace the battery and follow up with the results.
