'99 Ez-Go 36 volt DCS
When putting the cart in Forward, sometimes there will be a slight delay and the cart will go in Reverse for a brief second or so and then go Forward and the same when moving to Reverse, will go forward for a brief few seconds and then on to Reverse.
Would this be an issue with the F/R switch or something else? Thanks! |

Re: '99 Ez-Go 36 volt DCS help
Those symptoms sound like the controller is telling you it might be about to give up. Might be a time for an upgrade.

Agreed, The controller redirects current for directional travel changes. I have not heard of the F&R switch failing in this manner.

Re: '99 Ez-Go 36 volt DCS help
Thank you for the responses. I'm going to pull the controller, this week. Since this is a spare cart of mine and not my primary cart, is there a source to get the controller rebuilt or locate a used one?

Re: '99 Ez-Go 36 volt DCS help
it may be cheaper in the long run to get alltrax...
rebuilds often fail-but some last a while...kind of a gamble... is your cart a series?is it a toaster? |

Re: '99 Ez-Go 36 volt DCS
I was finally able to get to the cart to pull the controller. I have attached a picture showing the model & S/N. What are the best options and pricing currently available? I would prefer to support the vendors that help to support this website. This cart does belong to my 88 year old mother, so I don't need any extra speed, at this time. Thanks!

Re: '99 Ez-Go 36 volt DCS
My 84 year old mother's cart runs low twenties
She might like the speed An investment now in the Alltrax world be a good one. Little more money but much more forgiving and it can be setup with multiple modes depending on who's driving. |
