Not sure really, not a fortune. Our home campground and neighborhood is quite hilly. Just like to pick up some pep up the hills.

Well I guess you could talk with EMP and get your motor redone, then maybe put in an upgraded controller, unforetunetly (can't spell) when you have a sparky it is hard not to spend small cash...... I did a 02 txt with a motor froom D&D ES-52-58 with 500 amp alltrax, nice take off for torque, decent speed, but it wasn't cheep. Here was the build on that one.

Firescooby,

Don't get to worried about your DCS cart.

I have one and, since you want more Oomph from yours anyway, you will be replacing the controller with a better unit (this was the main concern with the DCS models).

I got an Alltrax 400 Amp, 4 ga. wires, and all new batts and I'm tickled ( ) with mine. It has a 5 inch lift and some large tires and is just fine w/ four adults and cool beverages cruzin around here. Ashphalt or hills and ditches and she's just fine. You are going to have to spend some $$ but, depending on how cheap you got into the cart, it's one place or another. Sparky's are not cheap but they have their advantages.

Do some searching on the forum about DCS carts and you will see the peoples concerns. Don't get in a panic though, you don't have a POS cart,,,just one with some personality
