Re: new to board Hi all
Definately NOT hydro , There are 7 different classes in USLMRA and 4 in AMRA so each class has different top ends . A guy from here in Ga filed al the proper paper work and went to Bonneville and set the world record speed for a lawnmower on 06 of 87 mph that's 5 miles each way and 2 attempts averaged . You see a lot of peerless 700 trannies and live axles . A competive 12 hp class S/P in USLMRA will turn out close to 18 hp on the dyno @ 5500 rpm. The trick to racing is the frontends , proper handeling will do a lot to overcome someone with more hp on a 700 ft track .www.letsmow.com for more info and rule book .
