Since it is described as having a "Start" function, the second on position would most likely be momentary contact, which wouldn't work too well for lights and accessories.

I had a gasser a while back, and it had an off, on, and lights position. Cranking was simply applying gas. However, it only had one battery, which was negative grounded, so I'm not sure what the switch looked like. Even if it is two independent circuits, you might want to make sure they are both isolated from the switch body.
While my switch was originally attached to a metal plate that is riveted to plastic, It's just good practice to use devices that aren't "hot", as wires can come loose. |
