Fiddy K - You said you didn't like speakers but are you happy with the speaker placement? Haven't had a sound system installed yet. The installer I'm leaning towards puts the speakers behind your legs under the seat. Basically where the forward/reverse selector is.

I had considered between the front and back seats like you did. Installing them in that access panel.

Your thoughts?

I debated both locations. I have a neighbor that put them between the seats, and it sounds great, so I went with that location. I also put Boom Mats behind them. The speakers are Pyle, and had pretty good reviews, so I really don't know why they sound so terrible. I will put better quality speakers in and try that and report back. But yes, I'd put them in the same location again if I were to do it all over again.

Fiddy...looks GREAT...question, did you put in a fuse block for your accessories? Any chance you could share what you used/how you wired?

Thank you. Yes, happy to share:

1. Light bar: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012CGFOOQ/

2. Four gang rocker panel switch, with volt meter and two USB ports: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QPDMCHQ/

3. Bluetooth receiver with amp: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IBI518Y/

4. Speakers with LED, do not recommend: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078JFCLPJ/

5. Boom Mats for speakers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0039Z3SPW/

I did not install a fuse block, but there are several inline fuses. So far, all is well. I'll snap a pic of the wiring here shortly and post. The amp is under the cup holders.

Hope this helps. Happy to answer any questions or link to anything on the cart that may interest you. As you can tell, I'm an Amazon Whore......

Paul

As promised, pics of the wiring. The extra looped wiring in one of the pics is for the underglow lights, which I have not installed yet. Hope it helps...

I appreciate it. Thank you. I think I'm going to go the fuse block route, just for sake of simplicity and ease of future add-ons.

replaced the Pyle speakers with Polk Audio DB522 speakers and they sound ten times better.

Just delivered last week:
2010 Yamaha G29 Electric
Only thing installed was the back seat and battery charge display

Parts ordered:
Deluxe led light kit with turn signals and horn
Voltage reducer
Side mirrors with signal markers

The two different color seats are driving me crazy so I need to decide between going all black or maybe getting the Madjax two tone covers for both.

Also REALLY want to get the roof done in black. Been trying to decide what is better - Kyrlon Fusion paint for plastic or a bed liner type (should I roll on or spray)

Thanks for that update sir. I'm debating where to place speakers and that looks like a winner if it provides good sound.

Picked up a 2007 g29 48v last week. Here's a couple quick pics, one before I unloaded it the first time, and a couple quick night pics of the progress.

I painted the roof with bedliner, upgraded the lights to a street legal package, installed seatbelts, and built a 40x2 rms bluetooth sound tube attached to the roof.

Still waiting on my hd rear springs, and a backordered Jake's winch mount bumper. My stock charger is kind of suspect right now so I think I'm going to install a Lester Summit series 2 on board charger.
