![]() Greetings,
I am new to all of this as we bought a cart to provide transportation in the campground we have our trailer at. We bought an electric EZ Go cart that was manufactured in 1996. Is there a way to tell from the serial number the type of cart or model (TXT, Fleet, etc) our EZ Go is? I know it is a 36 volt cart. We think we got a good deal as the cart is in good shape (with a top) with a new automatic charger - all for $700.00. The seller said the batteries are 2 or 3 years old. Outside of this information, I know little about the cart other than it runs well. Any pointers are appreciated. Thank you much, <///>< |

![]() It stands for Drive Control System, NON DCS(fleet cars) just use power from the batteries to run the motor
DCS are more complex systems that use different types of motors that can generate power to put back into the system. These were replaced with the PDS "Precision Drive System" |
