Thanks, I read this other post just now. I too probably do not get the engine hot enough most days. His compression seems low to me, but I, nor does he, know what his engine compression range should be. He is not sure what the valves should be set at. He really needs a manual. The good news about my case, is that I can change the oil really fast. I've gotten really good at it. Right now, I continue to monitor the oil with a smell test daily.
