As far as a spring, I put a umax spring in mine. Very happy with it, nothing has stopped it yet. You can get a hold of Smallblock450SL, he can get you one! $9 bucks! He's in
Wash. ST. so get it fast! Or go to yamaha golf store and just buy one, there cheap!!
