J-clip removal question (rear body)...
I recently purchased a rear hitch for my 2008 1/2 Precedent. No instructions included, of course. It seems I have to remove (4) J-clips, M8x1.25, p/n 102298601. These clips are mounted on each side of the bumper brackets (p/n 103677401 and 402) and appear to slip onto the molded plastic of the rear bumper. I've removed the (4) bolts, however the clips seem to be wedged into place. Has anyone had experience removing these clips and if so, I would appreciate any tricks to remove them without damaging or breaking the plastic bumper...thanks in advance...

Re: J-clip removal question (rear body)...
i removed those same j clips today on my 2008 precedent to install a trailer hitch. they are not attached or bolted to anything so i just yanked them using a thin screwdriver. they are very difficult to remove but they came off without any damage to the plastic and i was able to attach the trailer hitch.
