g9 head gasket
Hello, I'm new to this. I'm replacing my '95 g9 head gasket. Doesn't it matter which side of the gasket faces up or down? The reason I asked is that it's not completely flat. Also, should I clean the cylinder head and valves? Thank you in advance.

Re: g9 head gasket
The "raised" portion of the gasket should face the cylinder head.
