Bad voltage regulator
I am having an issue with my ezgo txt gas cart. The main symptom was the battery not keeping a charge. I tested the voltage and noticed it was all over the place. I ended up figuring it was the starter generator which was a noob mistake. I ordered a new one and the problem was still present. I found a way to test the old one and it seems ok. So I picked up a new battery, just to be sure and because the other was aging and I wanted to remove a variable. I didn't think about the voltage regulator until I started doing some more digging. From the video does this seem likely?

Re: Bad voltage regulator
captain,
In the ezgo tech section above this forum there may be a troubleshooting section on the voltage regulator I can't remember right off hand but I remember having to test mine last years so I assume I got the info from here on BGW. Also when asking for help, you may want to give us a description of the cart...year, make, etc. I hope you get a lead on what you issue is. |
