gas in oil 2016 clubcar fuel injected

2016 precedent club car with Subaru fuel injected engine keeps getting gas in the oil, changed oil and within a week oil level is "way" overfull with gas. Only thing I can imagine is the injector leaking by??? Any thoughts on this??

Is the air filter clean? Is the inlet opening for the filter case clear? No leaves or debris or mouse nests? When you stop the cart do you make sure to turn the key off?

Otherwise, it would have to be a leaking injector, or it doesn't get driven enough.

The best check for the injector is to either remove it from the throttle body, or unbolt the throttle body from the engine with the fuel line still attached, and push it off to the side over a container that will catch any dripping fuel. Prime the fuel system by turning the key on and off a few times. See if the injector leaks. If it does not leak, re-install it to the engine, start the engine and drive it for a normal drive, similar to where you would normally go with the cart. When you get back with the cart, remove the injector or throttle body again without removing the fuel supply line. Hang it over a container to catch any fuel that leaks out and let it sit that way until the engine has cooled. Check it occasionally to see if it has leaked.

There are other tests that can be done but you need special tools to not catch yourself or the cart, or your garage/house on fire.


The other option is that the cart is not running enough to reach full operating temp during normal driving.
