Parking Brake Removal. Replaced For a Different Style Of Parking Brake
I know this could be a little out there. But has anyone considered removing the parking brake from the brake pedal?
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THIS??!! So here's my reasoning. If the driver goes for the brakes in an emergency/panic, they will have an excellent chance to engage the parking brake. This panic braking creates a scenario where they would inadvertently lock up the tires and not get them unlocked. The result is that the cart goes into a slide. Has anyone explored getting rid of the integrated parking brake and replacing it with a safer solution? |
