Slowing Down on Hills?
I have a 1986 36V EZ Go Marathon that runs OK on level ground, but struggles on any type of hill. It will not stop, but it does slow down dramatically even on a full charge. Is this typical for this old of cart or are the batteries loosing strength due to age. I have ’94 Trojan batteries.

Re: Slowing Down on Hills?
Typical. The born on date is usually stamped into the base of the neg post on each battery.

Re: Slowing Down on Hills?
Hey check the specific gravity of each cell with a hydrometer , to see how bad the batteries really are .
