I am looking at buying this golf cart its not running he's asking $400 which I wouldnt pay but what is missing on the back end? Is it just the plastic liner? or is there more? What should I offer? He says its not running because of the wiring. Thanks Jason

OK - Don't shoot me, but I'd offer him $40.00 as is, or get it running and you'll give $400.00

ya i agree 400 is way over the price of scrap value, dont mean to be mean but if this has been sitting in the tall grass all of this time you might have corrison issues also. trust me i know ,i found mine in tall grass and had alot of issue to put it back together..

You guys are right. These sellers kill me. They take a $700 golf cart and run it till it dies, sell the charger or leave it sit for 2-3 yrs in the weather and then want $400

After you flush the varnish from the gas tank and carb you may get it running enough to find it needs rings? Or makes rear end noise? Who knows what wires the rats and mice have chewed.... I agree

It's an old 2 cycle and not worth it in my opinion.
That age cart will have mucho drive line wear.

That cart is exactly what I look for; its over priced when I buy it. Then I can spend a couple of thousand on it and then sell it for Half of what I have in it........
Let me know how it works for you.

Look at my profile pic. The green thing on the trailer. That's the same cart only 3-wheel. It cost me alittle gas and a fun ride 3miles down a mountain road towing it with my cart to go get it. I paid nothing for it and it runs.

If i can see correctly it looks like the clutch has alreay been replaced with an aftermarket comet 94c duster clutch.

So if the clutch drive system is not too warn out, it would be a nice cart to get up and going again.. thats if the motor's not seized, or has low compression. Something to boot around the yard with.. And it will go fast

That cart is a 88 btw, and has the high output pg2 with the 24mm carb
