replacing alternator/starter belt with shorter belt
Have a 37" starter alternator belt on my club car. I want to replace it with a 36". With the 37" I have no adjustment. Will a 36" work? There seems to be enough adjustment in the starter/alternator. It won't cause drive belt problems, will it?

Re: replacing alternator/starter belt with shorter belt
it should be ok as long as its just a shorter belt, if you had no adjustment your belt musta been pretty worn...............make sure you get it good and tight.................................
