Pully(sheave) removal

I have 1200 work horse 350 robyns, the big pully that goes to transmission has a bolt thru it 5/16 x 4/12 the bolt broke off inside the splined part, I pulled off pully by hand drilled out and replaced broken bolt it lasted for 5 miles driving and broke again, now I can not pull the pully of by hand, I have tapped on it and rotated it but no come off, any suggestion on how get off and why bolt broke again, thank U

You can try using a pickle fork between the clutch and the differential housing.
Extreme caution should be used to exert only a slight amount of pressure as the diff. and the clutch are both weak aluminum castings. You can break them. My guess is that your clutch is damaged somehow in a way that is making it act like an out of balance tire.
Have you made any modifications to the belt or clutches?
Either get a new driven clutch or open it up when you get it off. let us know what you find.

I installed the shorter belt( for hill pulling) when I bought the cart and it must have traveled 50-75 mlles in 2 yrs we only drive it at lake for 2-3 miles weekend and never any trouble until now. Thank U for quick reply ( i depend on this cart cause I handicap) If I can get this bolt out should I use a grade 8 bolt to replace it?

I would try that old belt if you still have it?

I may still have it in my pile of stuff and wil try it IF I ever get the pully off

An update I had to take to shop to remove the pully I did not have time or toools, he got it of with ease , however he said pully shot need replac i ok do it, Shoul I still use the shorter belt or go back to old one, it did not have the hill pulling power the dhort on did. ??????

try the old one first. if it still breaks then you have a different problem but if it works then try the other belt.
