Rear End Whine
Have a late model TXT all original bought from golf course.
Notice a whine in the rear end just recently. Not loud, but you know, noticeable. Do the rear ends whine? It is normal? Is there something I can ck out? Like rear end oil. Can you advise if I can ck out. What wgt oil do you use? Just need your comments. I have another lifted EZGo....no whine, never. Sounds and runs great. Am concerned. Tips...suggestions please? THANKS A LOT, always appreciate you guys coming through. |

Re: Rear End Whine
i have the same thing in my 78 marathon
from what i can tell is that you may need to drain the rear end and re fill it with new i am going to do this with mine but every time im at the coop i forget the gasket sealer the best i can come up with is that the whine is from either low oil, i lifted my cart up with a jack and gave it a squirt of some 80 90w oil and it seems to make it whine less |

Re: Rear End Whine
could be either. most whines I hear are from the bearing in the motor. the bearing cost less than 20 bucks and takes about 1 hour to install. The install times is if the motor just slides off the input shaft.
