Talking all custom ez-go marathon no kits

this is my ez-go marathon. i bought this cart in pretty rough shape rusted trough the bottom for 300 bucks. ive been custom building it up, all home built with no kits purchased!!. from home made steering wheel, lift kit, floor, rool cage, ram bar, and cooling scoops. got a 400 cc 6 speed honda street bike motor to finish it all off for the cart. but its a working project. low budget all 100 percent origional. let me know what you think?:)

It looks great. I'm doing an 88 Marathon this winter. Did you remove the body moldings? That's what I'm doing now. Just wondering if I should reuse the old ones or purchase new ones.

in the mean time of building the frame and axle work for the bike motor i put in a 389cc horizintal shaft motor and made a 2 speed and hand clutch bar for it, its a 13 hp motor and it hits 55-60 km an hour. it works not bad for the mean time, a quick cruizer:)

i dont have pictures of the two speed yet but off the motar shaft there is two pullies i made side by side welded together. then when to pull back on the shifter it releases the tension pully on the belt acting like a clutch letting the belt go loose and slip . then when you push the shifter from side to side. it moves a gide roller that hops the belt from the big pully to the little one and back on the motor shaft like high and low. then let the clutch out letting the tension pully put preasure so the belt grabs the pullys again. it took a while to figure out but cheaper than a cintrifical clutch worst you can do is wreck the belt. and its way more fun and cooler with the hand clutch and shifter
