G22 Clutch rollers
I am replacing the clutch rollers in my G22 because a flat place
had been worn in two of them causing the OEM clutch to lockup My question is when I replace them with new rollers should some type of lube be applied to them where they contact the weights or are they designed to run dry |

Re: G22 Clutch rollers
Thanks for the help I got some new rollers from cartpartsplus.com these were solid steel not like the rollers
I removed from the OEM clutch which had steel wrapped around nylon and the new rollers came with new pins also there service people said they should be sprayed with chain lube anyway I installed them and a new drive belt After looking at the new belt along side the old one the old was about 3/16-1/4" narrower and I think part of the reason the rollers wore flat spots Anyway the G22 now runs like new |
