Tiny Tac Flush Mount
I've tried searching for pics but I haven't found what I was looking for yet. I wanted to see if anyone had and pics of a tiny tac that they flush mounted on an aftermarket dash.
I ordered a stretch plastics dash and was looking for options on where to mount my tiny tac. I have it surface mounted on the stock dash on my 99 DS, but my new dash should be arriving soon. I'd like to see any pics or flush mounts, stock or aftermarket dash. |

It's a great little tach and easy to install. I have mine surface mounted in the center of the stock dash panel.

Re: Tiny Tac Flush Mount
Where are you guys getting these Tiny Tachs from? I've been looking for some kind of tachometer for my cart but haven't found anything yet.

still thinking about making mine flush mount as well, maybe i will try and attach the tach to a plate and mount it from the back side, simpler for me, cause i am working with birch wood.......... |

Re: Tiny Tac Flush Mount
how is the wire routed, was there enough slack to route it nicly or is it barly long enough and just a str8 shot from the dash to the plug wire? i was wondering about this because you can order them with extra length wire directly from the company for 10 dollars more for a cleaner install.

I had plenty if wire to route it and zip tie it along the way, so I think it will be fine.

Re: Tiny Tac Flush Mount
I think it would need some sort of bezel to look decent...
I thought about flush mounting mine, but I would never be able to fit it neatly enough. For the record, I'm not such a Tiny Tach fan. I find it hard to read and slow to respond to changes in RPM. I wish I had gone analog from the get-go. |
