Looking for 6:1 gears
I want 6:1 gears anyone have them for sale or know where I can get them. Can't find them on eBay. They have 8:1. But I can get an extra 13 mph with the 6:1. Thanks!

There are none, nor will there be any. if you could see the stock ring gear in compairison to the 8:1 ring gear you would quickly see the problem. the 8:1 ring gear is only about 1/4 inch thick. the carrier (where the ring gear bolts on) is too large to fit any smaller gear diameter, so a 6:1 gear would also require a different carrier to bolt it to. it would be too expensive, so i doubt anyone will ever build it. Sorry.....this post only applies to the TEAM axle found in Drives, the older Dana axle could fit 6:1 gears. Parts do Not interchange between TEAM and DANA axles.

Tks I researched it after i made the post.. Anyone know about using this power kit. It looks like a stiffer clutch spring. Any thoughts. Thanks
