I have one of the Lester 36-48v Discharge testers. It works good. It will give you a summary = starting voltage, run time (at 75 amps 36v or 60amps 48v), and ending voltage. This gives a very good real time discharge test. Cost is about a grand.

My battery distributor uses a carbon pile 350 amp max draw - this is a 30 sec to 1 minute test.
My favorite battery analysis tool is my refractometer. |

I had a refract. once and sold it LOL I called the local pawn shops and found one I want to go look at, might find a good deal.
