faster in reverse than foward ????
Hey guys , I posted before and have not found the problem yet. I have a 93 club car 36 volt. It will run pretty good in reverse and is really slow in foward. I checked the wiring and it seems to be wired ok. any ideas where to look from here ??

A 93 CC had a 1/2 power reverse feature.... maybe you have it backwards? Why not post a few pics of the cart battery bay? Let us have a look around ....

Re: faster in reverse than foward ????
It may seem to be wired ok but I just today learned that it's better to pull all the wires and clean 'em up with copper bristles . Not only are you ensuring a good contact but in my case a wire on the motor (reverse) popped right out of the copper connector. I silvered soldered it in and plan to do the rest when I have time. Perhaps a rigged fix for you would be to switch the forward and reverse main cables and see it it slows in reverse? Don't trust amatures like me either

Re: faster in reverse than foward ????
Is the FNR Lever pointing towards "F" when You are going forward?
If it is not, You may have the 2 wires that go back to the motor reversed, the ones we can see in the picture look right. I just posted some pictures on a different thread a few days ago, check the A1 and S1 wires back to the motor. 1986 FNR wiring |

Holy extra wiring Batman!
What all accessories are on this baby? I see lots of small gauge wiring coming from batteries and going to something... |
