Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
I was backing it out of the garage and as I let off of the pedal to hit the brake to put it in forward it just stopped. It does nothing. I have lights and a radio and they work but when I flip the tow switch there is no "click". Do any of you guys have a clue what this could be? I've had the cart for about 8 months with zero problems and I'm a rookie to most of this stuff so any ideas would be welcome

Check for power from tow/run switch into controller. Should be "Pack +" 48v voltage.

Re: Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
I was getting 51.2v across the 2 big posts on the solenoid and I am getting power running through the "tow" switch.

Re: Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
You are not putting your test leads on both big leads at solenoid right? Test at the main Pos and main Neg terminals at controller. You are running stock controller (GE or Moric)?

Re: Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
Moric is the brand of controller. I'm certain it's stock.

Re: Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
While more testing may be in order, things dont look good for a Moric controller. They are the weak link in the late model G22s. Although Alltrax does not officially make a kit to work with Moric powered G22, their G19 kit will work fine with a simple cable swap.

Re: Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
Would a bad controller cause the solenoid not to click when flipped from tow to run?

Re: Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
Yes, thats a classic sign of a controller problem in G19 and newer yamaha, as the controller powers the solenoid.

Re: Electric G22 just went dead with no solenoid click
So if this is the case, from what I read on here, all track is the way to go when replacing controllers. I'm lost on what amp controller to use and are these plug and play?
