Not exactly. Even at Private Speed Mode 4, Club Car only allows that 250 amp controller to put out 110 amps. The firmware remains, but the settings are bypassed to allow more amperage.

Did you order from us? Just wondering since I didn't see an order come through. We have an excellent relationship with the manufacturer, so either way is cool with us. I just wanted to make sure that we weren't having website issues.

So the speed code 5 has the potential to produce almost 2.5 times the torque over stock settings and speed up the cart also ??

Again, that is sorta the case. The other limiting factor is what the motor will actually draw. The Speed Code 5 will give you the potential to use up to 250amps, depending on the motor's draw.

New problem. So does anyone know how to fix this problem I believe its called a MCOR issue. This cart was taken off a golf course and I tested the pin adapter that goes into the Curtis controller and I only am getting 3/4 use out of the pedal 3.8 to 3.9 ohms. So its not letting me get to my top speed. How do I correct this problem. Thanks All
