05 Precedent No tail light connectors

I am installing a light kit on an 05 Precedent I got from a golf course. I have everything hooked up & working except the tail lights. The front lights work from the switch. I cut the holes in the body for the tail lights & looked around for the connectors, but could not find them. All wires going to the back go to the motor. I read on here that the Precedents up to 08 have the connectors in back, but not on mine.
I can run 2 wires from the light switch & ground back to the lights if needed, but wonder why no connectors on my cart. the S/N is PQ0535. Where would the tail light wires connect to the harness if they were there?

Hmmm, your car certainly should be pre-wired. Are you sure they aren't just tucked away back there where you can't see them?

Look at the side of the battery tub and see if you see wires, down the gap between tub and outside of body. Both sides, if they are there, those are your tail light wires. I believe they are back a bit from the holes you cut, taped.

How do they get to the back. Thru the hole with the motor wires or under the frame?
Where do they start from? Behind the dash?

I don't think they come from where the motors wires do.

I do see wires between the tub and the body on the left side. Can't see where they go in the back. I will remove the rear wheel & look up inside tomorrow. I have the bad holder & top supports off now to add a rear seat so that should help looking inside.

Mine are in grey plastic conduit going up over the wheel so if you see them you're good to go! :)

Hi,
I have a 2007 Precedent. I installed the light kit and had a heck of a time fishing my wires out for the taillights. I used a coat anger with a hook bent on the end. The wires were curled back towards the back of the foot well down along the sides. The wires should be there.

Sunlight + long (12") coat hanger = finding wires
They are way up inside. Now have lights working.
