Club car ds gas clicks won't turn over
I have a club car ds gas late 80s I believe. Was driving I stopped and it would not go just clicked replaced one microswitch that didn't do it the one under that box by the battery. Tryed jumping solenoid nothing . I took the key switch out to just see what was there and the ground was croided so I replaced that still nothing ..

I just recently went through something similar with my 98 DS battery had good voltage but when trying to turn over it would not work.new battery and all is good.

Yea I have a my boat battery I have charging now but I broke a micro switch testing it so I'm waiting on that hopefully that's it

I seen on my voltage regulator the yellow and red are crossed on mine would that make any difference meaning where on the diagram is red going to solenoid it's yellow going to starter on my cart

Just because the yellow wire is towards the left and the red wire is towards the right going into the regulator in the diagram doesn't necessarily mean that's how they're positioned on the cart itself. They don't illustrate the contact points where the wires connect to the regulator.
It shouldn't make any difference if your cart ran fine and all of a sudden died. I doubt that the wires flipped themselves in order to cause your problem. |

I have a 1996 and going through the same problems. Brought a brand new batttery and still having problems..

Well I tried normal size battery and replaced all the micro switches besides the reverse alarm one which I tested and is good don't know what else to try any body else have any ideas ?? Could it be the starter ? Just don't get it
