'92 DS seat back questions

I'm going to install a rear seat kit on my newly acquired 1992 DS. However, the old front seat back brackets will be incompatible and if possible I would like to upgrade to the newer style seat back.

I am searching, but are the later model brackets compatible ? If so, any leads on where to find the brackets would be appreciated

With most new back seat kits you'll be completely discarding those brackets. I think that with the new back seat you just unbolt your existing front seat cushions and bolt them onto the brackets that come with the new rear seat assembly. If you want to upgrade to the newer front seat cushion (long single cushion instead of two separate cushions), as I understand it you just order the back seat kit for 2000-up and then order the new (front seat) cushion to fit it.

I imagine a Club Car dealer would sell the new seat cushion since that's what late model DS carts currently use.

The newer DS has different roof supports so it may or may not cause problems depending on if and what style of roof.

Ah, now I see that some of the new rear seat comes with brackets for the front backs as well as new roof supports. Some of the ads I was looking at did not specify. I'll just stay with them and buy some new covers for the fronts. Thanks.
