Yes
First go with Trojans T-875 They are the gold standard. The rest are almost just as good as.
Go with 2awg now. The price is very close. Do it once and be happy
Remove the OBC and use a DPI charger.
Remember do it right the first time and you only have to cry once. (or at least whine once)

I agree with the 2awg, the OBC bypass and the DPI charger. I would prefer the higher amp output and lower voltage drop of the Deka batteries. AMG batteries do have a few weaknesses but as long as you don't over charge them they are pretty darn good, and superior to FLA batteries.

I don't have spec sheets for Deka batteries but heres a link for Odyssey batteries, they use similar construction.

http://www.odysseybattery.com/extrem...ery_specs.aspx

PC2250 is at the bottom of the page, it is the same weight as the FLAs I currently use. My FLAs drop from 76 volt to 52 volts at 550 amps. The odyssey batteries will push 2250 amps with a lot less voltage sag.

I ended up getting 6-8v Deka Pro Master batteries.

For the price- seller providing a 2 yr warranty, delivered the batteries me and gave me some new cables (albeit 6ga) and a battery lifting strap-I had no cores as well-could not pass it up.

Finishing up the 6-8v conversion and some wiring. With any luck the cart will be rolling on its own power soon.

Removed the OBC and went with the Lester Summit onboard charger 19.5amps fully automatic charger. This will be a street vehicle, not in the woods-so not too concerned with the charger "bouncing around"
