Default removing spindles

I am installing a 4" Drop Axle Lift on my cart. The kit I bought came with an axle, new spindles with extended tie rod connections points cast in, new sleeves for the king pin, and extended shackles to raise my back end.

My problem is after I removed my king pin, I am trying to remove my spindles in order to retrieve my thrust washers. I cannot get the sleeve to come out. I have watched YouTube (my education channel) and everyone just lightly taps with a center punch and the sleeve come right out. That definitely did not work for me.

Any suggestions? Other than "bigger hammer".

Thanks
Rick

Never mind. I took the axle to the shop where I bought my new one for help and it turns out that the answer was a BIGGER HAMMER.

In fact, he said he needed a BFH. Now i can complete the reassembly.

I've seen parts come off, just by seeing me approach with a BIG crow bar and my BIG sledge hammer.

Better always wear a towel when getting into and out of the shower. Don't want something to fall off.
