Default When will my DPI Gen IV Maintenance Kick in?

So the cart is tucked away and connected to the charger. It did its last charge last week and I assume it's sitting in maintenance mode. I checked the meter and its now sitting at 49.9. When will it kick in?

Think I read at 45 days in another thread. But since you are living in your tool shed for the winter, you can initiate another cycle when ever you feel like it!

LMFAO!!
The thing that worries me about waiting for the 45 day countdown is that it will likely be discharged WELL below the magic 50 mark. Maybe I'll just reach over and initiate a cycle as Dundee says...lol

Nah, when it drops to ~80% (or some predetermined point), it will automatically initiate the recharge.

Good question! Let us know what happens, please. I'm still waiting on mine to kick in. Probably unless you initiate your own charge, you'll be waiting 45 days. That is unless it first drops all the way down to 48 volts 50% SOC

I quickly glanced through the documentation again but they aren't very specific. I had pretty good luck getting an answer from DPI when I needed the DIP switch settings for Trojan T875s although initially they gave me the AGM settings (I wasn't specific just said T875). It was by sheer luck I stumbled on another thread with someone using different settings. When I pressed them they admitted they didn't have the settings in the manual for flooded T875's but gave me other settings which matched the other thread. The only other problem was that I thought switch 1 was at the top when in fact that's 5...

Lets see what they say about maintenance mode...

stay tuned

Wouldn't worry too much. Batts in our Quebec winters don't self discharge much if at all. They'd rather hibernate!
