You may want to "slather" your terminals and the brass on your connections with "NOALOX" product. When I had flooded LA batteries I used it and IF you have the terminal and the connectors covered, you will NOT get future green corrosion on your terminals.

I hated cleaning terminals.....and this product works great. BTW....a buddy of mine who is a professional electrician.....union certified and trained!!.....told me to use this. And he was absolutely right!!

FWIW

Can you apply the NOALOX before you make the connection? Or only after?

Apply it before you make the connections. Coat the battery "bolt terminal" and also the cable stud. Coat both so all exposed metal has a coating.

You'll know if you missed a spot as that will be where any corrosion will begin.

Thank you DaveTM for the good advice. Mine are not green, or covered with white powder, but they do look a lot darker than they did when they were new. I'll be getting some NOALOX soon and will clean my terminals and cables good before applying it. Also know from here to flip the run tow switch to TOW and the disconnect the main Neg and Pos cables first.
