Default Yamaha Electric

Hi, I am getting a Yamaha Gplf Cart and its with 6 batteries. Charger is not working. The cart was also ldled for a year. Can you please let me know if its worth fixong it? Thks

If it sat idle for over a year, the batteries are probably completely dead. Many chargers won't work on completely dead batteries. You can check the electrolyte level in the batteries. For now, just make sure it's just above the plates. Don't fill to the proper level yet. Use an old school charger to charge each battery individually. If they take a charge, fill to correct level with distilled water, hook them back up and see what you got. The cart charger may start working then
also. Be aware, even if the batteries take a charge, they probably won't have much capacity left in
them. They may be good enough to check out the rest of the cart to see if it's worth buying a new set of batteries for.
