500a would be decent i think
i have a D&D high torque motor, logisystems 700 amp controller, and 26in tires on mine and she never over heats or shuts down early.. i can ride mine for hours and shes good..
Even had to tow my buddys out of the woods the other night and then for another 4 miles.. i was able to tow him faster then his cart went and our buddy that was with us has a ezgo txt i think? and its all stock with a lift and 22in tires and i was towing my buddy faster then the other cart could drive haha
