Default Heavy Duty Leaf Springs

I need new leaf springs for my 03 DS that has a rear seat and 215/35-14 tires. 90% of the time it's just 2 of us (350lbs) and occasionally 2 people on the back (additional 400lbs) riding around the neighborhood.

Been looking at the 3 leaf heavy duty kit ( SPN-2008 ) from and also the dual action kit ( SPN-2032 ) from Red Hawk.

With the 20" tires I don't have a whole bunch of clearance so I need to make sure it doesn't sag at all, and ideally give it a 1 inch lift. ( I'm not that concerned about the ride being slightly stiffer. )

Which should I go with, and are the Red Hawk ones good?

Go with the dual action springs. You won't be disappointed. I have dual action on my 02 DS (see cart description) and with two adults on the back it does not sag much at all and with just me or me and my wife it rides almost like stock springs. I believe mine are also Red Hawk but not 100% sure.

I installed the Buggies Unlimited Club Car DS Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Springs
Item #: 29991
They are 4 leaf and added 2" to the rear height.

How's the ride with those 4 leafs, and is that 2" with the spring over or under the axle?

I just received some dual action springs and starting to wonder if I should have gone 3 or 4 leaf heavy duty.

The new leafs were installed under the axle.
I installed the leafs before I installed a flip seat.
It's stiffer, but the old shocks and bushings were worn out and the ride was pretty mushy before.
