The sob in my cart returned. Slightly let off full throttle and she would not re_accelerate without stopping While looking for a loose wire I remembered upon sight melting my neg wires at the controller into one big blob still attached by original wires. I hope it isn't too dumb but would this wire Patty cause my problem or just infinite others? Heat prob is all good. Bought harness.

You always want the largest cable in contact with the post, on first.

If I had the negative controller rings in wrong relation to post height wise, with"semi" exposed wire could it cause this. Thanks a lot

Make sure the wires are not touching each other around the solenoid and controller where they should not touch. Check the motor wires make sure they are clean and snug. Check connectors at controller make sure they are pushed in good. Also check key switch wires for tightness and no shorts.

I ran to cell phone this morning like Christmas to see if I had any new tips. All great info I woke up to. Only question is determining how to see if part time short lives in key line/switch? I have done silly s*** with rocker switches etc. My name is on 96% of the carts remaining wires. Thank you all very much for reading and helping (buying a noles t shirt today)
Tx

Mrgolf, are you saying to make sure controller wires aren't touching a - to a + or am I looking to see if neg wires touch early where I melted casing a little?
Tx so much.
I will try the other loose wire searches as daylight allows

Just make sure wires from one post don't touch wires from post near it.

You are having a complete current breakdown with those. They are probably heating up as soon as you get going good. Better get those all replaced ASAP or you will end up shorting something out or burning it down....
