Navitas A/C conversion slowing down?
I have a 2015 Yamaha with a Navitas A/C conversion kit. Batteries are one year old 8 volt trojans. After running for about 30 minutes the cart will slow down like the batteries are going dead but the charge gauge shows 75%. After you stop for 5 minutes it will go again full power for another few minutes before it does it again. Any ideas as the batteries test good?

Re: Navitas A/C conversion slowing down?
Just how did you test the batteries? You should bring a volt meter with you next time. You should test total pack voltage while driving. I'll bet the voltage is dropping below 42v when the slowdown occurs (hint: that's bad news for your batteries). Most all battery gauges are liars, especially if only one of the batteries is having problems.

Have the same problem with mine... at times seems as if only after it is fully charged.
