2011 yamaha drive 48 volt cart
REPLACED SOLENOID. BATTERY PACK IS 50.8. NO CLICK FROM NEW SOLENOID.NOT SURE IF IT NEEDS A RESISTOR. COULD THE CONTROLLER BE BAD?
REALLY LOST ON THIS ONE. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS |

Does not need a resistor. And since the controller handles solenoid activation duties, it could be a bad controller.

Check for power on controller large terminals B+ & B-. Check for power on pins 12 &13 on controller plug. If you have those things, and still zero response from controller (beeping reverse buzzer, solenoid click when switched to "run", resists motion), probably bad controller.
