G2 Electric Motor Upgrade

Has anyone found a decent motor upgrade for a mid 80"s G2? I have a 1986 G2 that I have upgraded with a carts unlimited C54U controller kit and I'm now looking for a motor. Having a hard time finding info on motors that will fit between the transaxle mounting and the right shock. I have a hair over 9 inches to work with.

I bought my G29 motor from EV Drives. I don't know what a G2 motor looks like but maybe they have something? They have great support, too.

Thank You! I spoke with Carl at EV yesterday. He actually called me back and is looking into finding a motor that will fit my strange parameters. I had several companies just fluff me off and I think EV drives is going to go above and beyond!

I have a 1986 G2. D&D built a motor for me. Can't do much as far as adding speed or torque, but I am very happy with the motor. Upgraded to the alltrax system from Scotty and made a huge difference.

Thanks for the information! I have ordered a D&D motor from EV Drives as well. Carl was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me find a motor to meet my needs.
