Drive2 hitch install review
Last night I installed one of these:
Wasn’t that bad but wow it’s not easy to get all the eight holes to line up just right. Also I decided to tuck it up as high as possible on the crossmember and now it slightly interferes with the bumper, but not enough to require cutting. If you’re not a fan of drilling precise holes through metal and likely having do do some wallowing of said holes I might suggest one of these that looks a lot simpler (albeit slightly less sturdy?): Either way know that you have to take the two Allen head bolts out of the bag well base to allow to lift the bumper up enough to clear it’s bolts from their homes ... not sure if this will help anyone but ya never know. Hope everyone is happy and healthy. |
