pedal adjustment
1999 ezgo 36V txt series electric motor.
How is adjustment done with the pedal rod that goes into the thermal sensor in the box? Should the rod go flush to the back side of this sensor, or half way or ??? |

Re: pedal adjustment
The rod should be adjusted so that it is 1/4 out of the tube or tunnel when the pedal is all the way up / at rest. The penetration depth will take care of itself.

Re: pedal adjustment
When you say "1/4", do you mean 1/4 of an inch? My cart was jerky when I pressed the pedal; I replaced the thermal (?) sensor in the box. That got rid of the jerkyness, but now the cart is slow. Batteries are new and charged. I suspect the rod is not adjusted right.

Re: pedal adjustment
Yes sorry, 1/4 is one quarter inch. You can measure the throttle signal here > https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=132659
