Clutch ??????
I have a 98 TXT. The clutch works fine about 30% of the time. And the other 60% it just acts like it is in high gear.If you are rideing and pulling a small hill with the clutch working its no problem, and then it just acts like it hits another gear and will not pull worth a flip. So that being said would i be money ahead if i were to just buy a new clutch or do you think i may can take this one off and clean it?

It can be rebuilt and the spring replaced.
